Not able to link a post to an existing jira work item

Expected Behavior when i type the work item id, it should show the work item in a drop down, after that ive the control if i want to select it or not Current Behavior When i search for a specific jira work item, it just doesnt work, show " No jira issues found". Or maybe im entering smthn wrong not sure. Also once it shows no result i have to refresh the entire page to be able to search it again. Is there a way to reset it without refreshing. Possible Solution Steps to Reproduce Try to link a post to an exisitng jira item in our case it is CP - 781 ( this is the work item id ) and it returns " no jira issues found" 4.
