Open resemble questions in new tab

When adding a new suggestion, similar questions are suggested, however the current dropdown causes accidental clicks and as it opens in the same window, the unfinished new suggestion is lost. Could similar questions be opened in a new tab, or the unfinished new suggestion automatically saved as a draft so that the information is still there when returning to it?
