Changelog CTA buttons can no longer be created or edited after 2.0

Expected Behavior The changelog editor includes an option to attach a linked CTA button to each changelog entry, and CTA buttons on existing entries can be edited or updated as needed. Entries published before the 2.0 admin redesign used this option, and those buttons still render correctly on the live changelog, confirming the functionality exists on the rendering/backend side. Both authoring new CTA buttons and modifying existing ones should continue to be possible. Current Behavior Two related regressions after the 2.0 admin rollout: The CTA/linked button option is completely absent when authoring new entries. When editing an entry via the Changelog Workspae, the only additional options available are duplicate, unpublish, and delete. There is no CTA button configuration anywhere in the entry authoring or edit flow. There is no way to edit or update the CTA link on any older changelog entry. Existing entries retain the CTA button they were published with, but the underlying link and button cannot be modified. A link pointing to a retired page, a moved page, a pricing change, or a corrected URL cannot be fixed without unpublishing and rebuilding the entry from scratch. The last entry published with a working button was June 13, 2026. The Sleekplan 2.0 announcement followed on June 22, 2026, so both issues appear to coincide with the 2.0 admin rollout. Possible Solution Reintroduce the CTA/linked button option in the new changelog editor with the same capabilities it had prior to the admin redesign, covering both: Attaching a CTA button to new entries Editing and updating the CTA link on existing entries Note that this is distinct from the existing request regarding CTA buttons in in-app announcement popups (feedback/291579). This report concerns the changelog editor. Steps to Reproduce Missing CTA option (new entries): Log into the dashboard admin (web, desktop). Navigate to Changelog. Open any entry. Observe the available options: only duplicate, unpublish, and delete. No CTA/linked button option is present anywhere in the edit flow. Unable to modify existing CTA links (older entries): Open a pre-June 2026 entry that has a CTA button. Attempt to edit the entry. The button renders on the live changelog, but no field or control exists in the editor to view or change its destination URL. Context (Environment) Dashboard admin on web, desktop, Firefox (Zen browser). Starter plan. This affects every changelog entry authored post-redesign, and locks in every CTA link published pre-redesign. Routine workload involves up to 30 changelog entries per cycle, each requiring its own unique link. The previous CTA option took seconds per entry; the Markdown workaround, manually composing a link per entry, takes significantly longer and produces entries visually inconsistent with all pre-redesign entries on the same changelog. A Markdown link also draws far less attention than the button did, undermining the CTA's purpose. Combined with the inability to update links on existing entries, the result is a changelog whose older entries cannot be maintained and whose newer entries cannot match them, with no way to reconcile either direction.
