Today the downvote feature can only be fully enabled or disabled. Downvotes are a useful feature to see if some users might not want a specific feature or change because they might think this goes into the wrong direction. This is a valuable data point to see both sides: The supporters as well as the people seeing problems. While downvotes on feature requests are easy to interpret the same is unclear for categories like "issues" or "error report". A downvote can mean "I don't have this problem" or it also could be an emotional reaction. It's unclear what it means. So it would be nice if I could just disable downvotes for specific categories to avoid confusion.
