Finally, our new, polished up API docs: We have completely overhauled and redesigned our documentation to make it more user-friendly and intuitive. The new API docs include clear and concise explanations of each endpoint and how to use them, as well as detailed examples and code snippets to help developers get started quickly. We have also added a new search function to make it easier for users to find the information they need. Auto Subscribe: Improve communication and keep everyone up to date!
With the new "Auto Subscribe New Users" option, any new users who create an account on your feedback baord will automatically be subscribed to receive changelog updates and notifications from you. This will help ensure that all of your users are kept informed about important updates, new features, or announcements. RSS feed: Make it easier for users to stay up-tp-date!
We are happy to announce the addition of an RSS feed for the changelog. With this feature, users can now subscribe to receive updates to the changelog via their preferred RSS reader. This will allow your users to stay informed about new updates and changes to the platform in a way that is convenient for them.
To access the RSS feed, add /rss.xml to your changelog URL. I.e. https://demo.sleekplan.app/changelog/rss.xml
Today we’re thrilled to announce that we have added segmentation to changelog updates.
Show your users that you know their specific needs. Send custom changelog updates to different user groups. For instance, target free users differently to encourage them to upgrade, or send specific updates to different user-levels like Subscriber, Members or Admins.

As of today, GitHub integration can synchronize in both directions, from Sleekpan to Github and vice versa, on private an public repos!

Happy Monday! 👋 We have a few updates and bug fixes to share with you, to help kick off the new week. Let's start with a few improvements and features that we have shipped recently.
To prevent the loading of external libraries, we moved all external resources from rsms and unpkg.co to storage.sleekplan.co. No need to give permissions to other libraries.
Setting SSO-tokens for the standalone page got a security upgrade. You don't need to set tokens using an URL parameter. Now you can pass tokens by doing a POST request or set the token as a Bearer token. Read more on our single sign-on docs.
The $sleek SDK has been slightly reduced in size and also received two new methods - rebind()
to rebind data-attributes and shutdown()
to turn off the widget and remove all HTML elements. Learn more about these two methods on our developer docs.
Until now, sending invitations to team members was a rather intransparent process - This is now a thing of the past! Pending invitations are now displayed on the team page and can even be canceled so that you always have an accurate overview of your pending invitations!
A new option to use separators has been implemented in the Changelog. Separator helps you to visually separate various parts of your release notes. This is useful for such cases when parts of a document are not connected and should differ e.g. by the type of information (Bug fixes, Features..).

Improved personal notifications will help you to stay up to date with your feedback community. Easily check new, unread and unopened notifications 👀
We have secretly introduced a few new features. Of course, we do not want you to miss out on these improvements. So here we go:
➡️ Importer: Import feedback posts, user accounts and, changelog updates via CSV file or directly from supported systems
🎨 Designer: A completely new experience when setting up your widget or standalone website. With the designer, you now get a direct preview of your current changes.
📊 Post stats: Advanced post statistics are now visible above each post (Starter or Business plan required).
Wanna guide your users to send structured feedback? Feedback templates can help you with that! Templates allow you to set a predefined text for each category that will be inserted on the post creation form.
We have improved the community moderation. From now on you can moderate comments as well as posts to keep your feedback community clean.
Bad Words List: In addition, we have introduced a bad words list. The list simplifies the moderation for you. You can define comma-separated words that trigger moderation. Other comments and posts will be approved instantly. This saves you the work of moderating every single post.
Quick Moderation Feed: While we are at it: Yes 😄! Finally, there is a simple way to moderate posts & comments. If you have enabled moderation in the settings, a new option will be available from your dashboard sidebar - a quick overview of all contributions that need to be moderated.

Easter is over and the Easter-🐰 has come up with a cool new feature: Managing different audiences from one board is getting even better with segmentation! Now you can specifiy a segment for each category. This means: Only users matching a specified segment will be able to see posts, submit suggestions or receive changelog updates for a category. Email notifications for the changelog will only go out to subscibers matching a segment. With this, you can now serve different user groups via one board and display different content for each 🙌 Amazing, isn't it?

Sometimes you write a comment that is important! You may not want to send notifications limited to subscribers. For this purpose, we have introduced two new options for @mentions: @all and @team
Both mentions - @all and @team - are restricted to team members only, so you can relax.. none of your users will spam the discussion with @all mentions! 😄
🆕 SORT COMMENTS
Easily sort comments by most recent and oldest. The new sorting function makes it easier to keep up with long and rambling discussions.
🆕 CUSTOM HTML
Add custom HTML to the standalone website (i.e. to include your own website header)
🆕 FEEBACK POST EXCERPT
Option to show a short excerpt on the feedback list. We have introduced a new option that allows you to display a short paragraph below the title - users can quickly find out what the post is about.
🆕 ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
Organizational structure for enterprises. Manage larger teams and different workspaces easily via an organizational structure.

Previously, you were limited to the last 30 days for the dashboard statistics. That's a thing of the past! Using the new dashboard time range selector you can easily switch between 7 days, 30 days, 180 days, and 365 days for your statistics. Happy Analysing! 🤓
This feature is available starting from the Business plan.
Possibly you have already seen them in your comments section. Likes are a great way for you and your users to leave lightweight feedback. Likes can act as a nice and easy way to see if users agree with a comment or opinion. Of course, you have the option to turn off likes on your board at any time. Go to Settings > General > Feedback.

Show your users that you are working on their feedback. Don't just write software news, but refer directly to the feedback that led to the developments. This new feature makes it easy for your users to understand which requests are related to new updates.
How does it work?
Simply use [feedback: post_ID] to embed a feedback post and [changelog: post_ID] to embed a changlog update - usable everywhere in comments, posts and updates 🎉

So we are happy to announce that the Sleekplan Integration for ClickUp is finally available. Create new ClickUp tasks from every feedback post or link posts with existing tasks on ClickUp. Great, isn't it?
But there's even more: You can easily keep status updates in sync between your ClickUp task and linked Sleekplan post. So you can keep everyone in the know and notify subscribed users and upvoter if you set a task to "completed".

Sleekplan comes with a default email layout and contents. But what's about using your own?
Create custom email templates & layouts!: We have shipped an update to our email service, that allows you not only to customize the layout of the email, but also to change the content according to your requirements. So that your emails fit in your brands' tone and style!

We're happy to announce one of the biggest updates to the widget within the last months. First, it is now possible to set a custom home screen for your board. You can choose a start screen from the following options:
However, you can do even more with your home using your in-app widget:
Serve your website visitors and customers needs with an advanced home experience. You can set up quick actions for different operations. You could think of something like sending suggestions or bugs to your board, but even additional options: For example a link to your help docs or support - everything is possible!
Adding those actions to your home screen helps visitors and customers find what they’re looking for quickly - so they can do more than giving feedback.
To customize your Boards' home, go to your Widget & Website settings and select "Home screen"
With the Sleekplan for Jira integration, you can create new Issues or link existing Issues to feedback posts on your public board and keep the status in sync.

Displaying popup only on specific pages
We added an option to show popups only when the user is in/ not in the defined set of URLs. The “Current Page / URL” Campaign rule is perfect if you want to show the campaign only to those visitors who are browsing (or not browsing) a specific page on your site currently.

We have some exciting news! Sleekplan NPS has been officially launched 🎉 This module is part of all paid plans, starting from "Starter"-Plan.
The Net Promoter Score can be used to measure user satisfaction and get real user feedback. NPS is often used by customer support teams, product managers, marketing professionals, and others to improve their products and services. It is an effective metric size where the level of customer satisfaction is measured on a scale of 1-10.
With NPS we extend customer satisfaction (CSAT) with another great solution.

Today we introduce improved privacy options to limit access to your board! Share your feedback board, roadmap, and changelog with your audience in a completely private way.
🔒 Limited access to your existing users (Single sign‑on)
Grant access to anyone who has been identified via single sign‑on.
🔒 Limited access to a particular team/company
Grant access to anyone who has an @company.com email address.
🔒 Password protection
Grant access to anyone who has the password.
Sending emails from yourproduct@sleekplan.com is now a thing of the past! Custom Email Domains can be used to use your domain branding for all emails that Sleekplan sends to your users. Also, your users will be able to reply to your emails directly to your domain. (Comment replies - for sure -still go to on.sleekplan.com 😉)
🔥 The Custom Email Domain you choose to use for Sleekplan is important, as it will be seen by your users. You get to manage your mailing reputation from your own domain name. This means less chance that your emails go to the spam folder. The Sleekplan brand won't be visible through email addresses. Your users see Sleekplan as fully integrated into your own branding (they have no way to see the Sleekplan brand in your outgoing communication).
🔒 Internal Comment: Add a comment to a post that can only be seen internally by team members! Sometimes you might want to add a comment to a post that can't be seen publicly. Discussing solutions with your team or assign action items to a team member is now even more simple!
📍 Pin Comments Pin important comments at the start of your discussions. Sometimes important information gets buried by other comments. For example, you might want to keep a status update visible at the top of a post. Well, now you can!
Sometimes you'll get feedback directly from calls with your customers or from your support or CRM tool. Now it's even more simple to keep track of those requests by using our new chrome extension.
