US Data Residency Option for End‑User Names and Emails
Description: As a healthcare-related customer admin, I want the option to store end-user PII (names and emails) exclusively in a US-based hosting region, so that our users’ data residency expectations and compliance requirements are met. Problem: All infrastructure currently runs in a non-US region (AWS eu-west-1) with no US replication. This forces storage of end-user names and emails outside the US, which conflicts with healthcare-related customer needs and user expectations for US data residency. Benefit: Providing a US data residency option enables compliance alignment, builds user trust, and removes a blocker to onboarding and retaining US-based users and customers who require that personally identifiable information remain within the US.
